Very Berry Smoothie

Phytochemicals and antioxidants have disease preventive properties. Berries are loaded with antioxidants, which stabilize free radicals, reduce oxidative stress, and help protect against DNA cell damage. This smoothie recipe contains all my favorite berries rolled into one delicious smoothie. Try this very berry smoothie recipes as a snack or an energy boost between meals. It easy and quick to make!
Ingredients:
1 1/2 c Almond or Oat milk (sweetened or unsweetened)
5 Large Frozen Strawberries
1/2 c Blackberries
3/4 c Blueberries
3/4 c Raspberries
1 medium Banana (chopped and frozen)
1 Tablespoon of Honey or Agave (optional)
Instructions: First, pour the Almond or Oat milk into the blender. Then, add in the berries and bananas and blend until creamy and smooth. Third, while bleeding, slowly add in the honey or agave and continue to blend. Stop blender to scrap down the sides of the blender as needed. Pour into 8oz cups and add toppings of choice for garnish. That's it...enjoy! Serves about 32- 40oz.
