Green Apple & Kale Smoothie

Try this delicious green apple and kale smoothie! One of my favorites because it's packed with vitamins, fiber and antioxidants. This is a great way to jump start your morning routine with a dose of nutrition.


Ingredients:

1 1/2 c of Almond Milk

2 Fresh Kale Leaves (remove inner stalk)

1 medium Green Apple (sliced into 4 wedges)

1 Celery Stalk (chopped into a few chunks)

1/2 Cucumber (5-6 slices)

1 c or 1medium Banna (frozen chunks)

3/4 c Fresh Raspberries

1 scoop of Ice cubes (added for texture)

1 Tablespoon Honey or Agave (optional)

Instructions:

First, rinse off and pat dry kale, celery, apple, cucumbers, and raspberries. Peel the kale leaves from its stalk and place to the side. Slice the green apple into quartered wedges and remove the core then place to the side. Cut off the edges of the celery stalk and slice into a few chunks then place to the side. Cut a medium cucumber in half then slice the half portion into 5-6 slices and place to the side. Now, let's blend! First, pour the almond milk inside a blender followed by the ice cubes. Second, Place the frozen bananas, kale leaves, celery, apples wedges, raspberries, and honey into the blender, cover with lid, and blend. Tada....all done! Added toppings of choice. Serves about 32 to 40 ounces. Enjoy!
