Ginger Apple Smoothie

This Ginger Apple Smoothie is busting with flavor and loaded with antioxidants, vitamins and nutrients. Great for a boosting the immune system and a quick energy boost. Also, perfect for on-the-go, in-between meals, quick snack, or right before an intense workout.
Ingredients:
2 C of apple juice
2 C of baby kale
1 C of baby spinach
1 1/2 of ice cubes or crushed ice
1 medium red or green apple (your choice)
1/2 medium avocado
1/4 c fresh cilantro
1/2 medium cucumber (sliced)
1/2 c fresh ginger (minced)
1 Teaspoon honey or agave (your choice)
Instructions:
First rinse the produce. Next, you need to cut and dice the fruit into smaller portions for blending. Cut the cilantro from the bunch and remove the tiny stems. Cut the cucumbers into slices. Then, minced the ginger into small pieces. Slice the apple into 4 wedges. Lastly, slice the avocado into half size and only use 1-half.
Blend:
Add the ice into the blender followed by the apple juice. Then, add the kale, spinach, apples, cilantro, cucumber, avocado, and ginger into the blender. Blend for 5 seconds and add the honey or agave to the smoothie. Then, blend until smooth or very green. That's it... Enjoy!
